Preparing classics for rallying
It has been a tremendous busy summer and autumn season at ERS. We have participated in several local events and organized a regularity practice event for the Oldtimer & Veteran Autoclub Tienen.
In our workshop we are now preparing three cars for gentlemen historic rally events. The ERS MGB roadster and GT are coming together nicely. Team manager Jeroen’s BMW is getting some more involving competition preparation done to bodywork, suspension, drivetrain and security. Work is continuing slowly but steadily.
The first upcoming rally in which the MGs and four other of ERS Classic Racing‘s mates participate, is the 2010 ATM Gilbert Staepelaere Memorial on 27 November. With about 230 participants this regularity rally is a classic amongst Belgium’s historic motorsport events. Weather forecasts predict rain and snow to keep us amused!
Check out the Staepelaere website to see how ERS competes in the gentlemen’s rally. At ERS we hope we will have as much fun as we had at the Spa Six Hours in September and the week before on this year’s trip to the Goodwood Revival Meeting!
